Vacation Fun!! I would grade myself. B+..

This pass week I went on a family vacation. My eating were o.k. Remeber, I had the sleeve so I am not as restricted as others. When we went out to eat, I aet off my husband plate. The biggest issue was all the snacking that was done around me. I did pretty good. Yes, I could done better. I enjoyed it very much. I did work out. I walk, swam and walked up 10 floors of steps one to two times a day. I try to stay active. I will down load some pics later.

Hey, sounds like you had lots of fun! Not sure I would have done stair laps on my vacation, but hey you were able to do them! That's awesome!

Glad you enjoyed yourself! And don't beat yourself up about snacking, you were out of your routine and now that its over and you had fun, time to get back to the routine.

we do need to keep living our lives, but now we understand portion control and healthy choices. I had a whole pretzel at the movies last night - got upset that I allowed myself to eat it - but then reminded myself that even with the pretzel my calorie count for the day was less than 1000, I didn't have the huge soda, popcorn and candy that was my snack norm before and I got up this morning had a healthy breakfast and ran 3 miles...boom- pretzel GONE! The fact we recognize some choices are better than others is already a step ahead...vacation should be a time to relax our standards a tiny bit - sounds like you did great!

On vacation too and I could probably make a few better choices but overall I think we need to lead our lives as normal as possible. I am staying active and burning tons of calories. Whereing my fit bit everyday and tracking what I'm doing. I plan to do the 5 day pouch test when I'm back at home to get completely back on track.
