I havent really felt like posting much lately, but have been reading the boards daily. I figured Id post an update so I have some accountability, I try to do that once in a while to keep myself on track.
Nothing is really new, however. Im going to the gym 4x a week and started training with weights last week to try to tone up some, and I do 20-30 mins on the elliptical each time I go.
Im a little frustrated though, because I am DYING to see the scale go down into the 100s and Im SO FREAKING CLOSE!! Ive been fighting with 204-207 for 2 weeks now, and Im back at 204 this morning. Dont get me wrong, Im THRILLED with my progress, but that is just one of those milestones we all want to see.
I know, I know.. ditch the scale, dont obsess over the numbers, youre gaining muscle and muscle weighs more than fat BLAH BLAH BLAH. LOL I want to see 199 (or lower) DAMNIT!
I am just going to keep at it knowing that it WILL happen, just not fast enough for me. Hehe
On a lighter note, mine and my BFs b-days are coming up, his is this Saturday May 15, and mine is NEXT Saturday, May 22, and we both took the next 2 Mondays off of work and have a room reserved at Clearwater Beach for the weekend. I CANT WAIT!!! It's supposed to be gorgeous weather. The water is so blue and beautiful there, and the white sand is so soft its like sugar.. cant wait to lounge by the ocean for a couple of days in my tankini. :D
Like Callie, I wore my tankini for the first time in about 4 years and I got a lot of compliments from my friends on it even though I still felt fat they said I looked great, which boosted my confidence a little and I wasnt so self conscious. I gotta get rid of my fat girl mentality. You know what I mean. Its not as easy as it sounds, but Im working on it.

I too lurk alot more than i post these days...but your right i think its good that we keep ourselves grounded and accountable to what we need to do.

My tankini covers my tummy with the exception of about an inch of skin, and the bottom has a skirt to cover up my apron, so I'm not THAT brave, but just brave enough. LOL
I've also been tanning in my bra and panties so I can get my tummy and back tan as well so that I can get away with showing a tiny bit of skin - I didn't want to go out there all doughy looking and blinding people with my snow-white skin. :D
I read these posts and I am so hopeful I will one day feel more comfortable in a swim suit. YOU GO GIRL! Work that tankini!

(Aside to the folks in GB, Do you stall out just before 90 Kilos (about 199 lbs) or are you likely to plateau just before 100K?).
Don't obsess it just makes it worse. If you stick with the program it will come and 195 will come faster. However, my next significant number is 185 (100 pounds lost) I'm at 192.5 now and I expect to be at 187.5 for forever - UGH
