Just curious, how long were you in the hospital total due to your complications. Also, did they do an open surgery or lap?

i was in the the hospital for 6 days cuz of the comp.... and my nut did a
lap surgery ...

Watched your Video.. you had a rough time for a while.. but sounds like you are getting the hang of all of this.. love the part about a couple of bites.. I am 2 months post-op now.. I can eat my 1/2 of cup now.. no problem.. which is good and bad.. So glad you are home and doing better.. we missed you here.

I loved watching your YouTube! I wish I'd seen someone doing a blog like that before I had my surgery !
Glad to know you're doing well -- you had us a bit concerned since we hadn't heard from you in a while.

Good job Mike! You are a force to be reckoned with now. In such a short amount of time you have managed to lose almost 200lbs. I just got to 202lb off mark as of Sunday in a year's amount of time. I started at 410lbs and am now at 208lbs. You are going to get alot more weight off soon the way you are going. Don't you find it Ironic that they have to tell us to eat and drink? I do. When you are further out from your surgery and your pouch can hold more food, and when the hunger comes back, as it does, you may have to watch it and see if you are truly still eating cause you are hungry, or if you are eating for the taste of the food only cause it tastes too good to stop eating it-like I a,m facing right now. Stopping when you feel full is a good measuring stick, but you will find it can be more difficult to distinguish that if you feel you want more cause the taste of it is leading you on. Just a heads up on that. It is my problem. Tune ins can take a lot of skill sometimes, as it is going to feel different with different foods how they will weigh in your pouch and when the feeling of satisfaction will come.But Mike that is a long way off for you yet, and you are making good progress-keep on going Mike.
