I am doing good, surgery went very well. IT TOOK A LITTLE OVER 2 HOURS. (sorry I hit my caps) they will not let me drink anything and for some reason my top lip swelled up , they thing it was from the meds they gave during surgery. I would love to have just some ice chios, but they said no. All I have is the swabs bu they do not help. The hospital has been just amazing. Thank you all for caring1

I'm glad to hear you are doing well except for the no water thing. I'm sure they will let you have some at some point.

Nice to hear you're doing fine! You'll get to drink I mean sip after they do your leak test. Remember little tiny sips and go slowly! Walk lots and you'll be home before you know it!

Amen! You will feel very dry because they dont want you putting anything in your mouth that can hurt your stitches. dont worry you will not dehydrate cause of the IV. Ask for a sugar free popsicle when you can. It helps with the cotton mouth.

Glad the surgery went well! Before you know it you will be allowed small sips of water, when I could first start sipping it tasted like heaven in a cup. Walk, walk, walk as soon as they will let you it helps with the discomfort and gas. Keep us posted and...
