Ok friends...I am just a week and a half shy of my 6 month surgaversary and my tummy has decided to be upset. It started yesterday afternoon when I was finishing the other half of a veggie tofu wrap. My stomach started to turn and feel queasy. So I stopped eating waited my 30 minutes...all the while its still sore....drank water...
This continued into the evening when I finally just went to bed so that I wouldn't feel the tummy pain. I woke up this morning feeling normal. Had my bottle of water...my usual skinny latte at Starbucks and half of a Starbucks turkey bacon and egg white breakfast sandwich. So fast forward to this afternoon when it was time to eat the other half of my breakfast sandwich....the pain starts right after. I wait 30 minutes drink 15oz of water and the pain is better ....any ideas?

This makes no sense at all because you did not have the pain after you had the first half of the sandwich this morning...if it was an issue you would have had the pain then as well. This is a quandry. I would say if it persists for another day or two or of the pain is terrible then call your doc but it just sounds like your are having a persnickety pouch right now.

I have had some issues with the same foods if I do not focus and chew well. It can be painful. If you do not think that is it, definitely call your doctor and just ask their opinion. They should tell you if you need to be seen. Good luck!

Don't have anything helpful to say. I hope you get to the bottom of it. I do know that a friend of mine had a stricture a full six months after surgery, so definitely check in with the doctor.

And also wanted to say I love your new pic. You look great!! Even sideways! ;-)

My pouch gets angry in the morning. I can't eat for first 2 hrs. If I have protien shake right off it feels like terrible bloat. And then my pouch hates almost everything right before and right after.

Ulcers might be a thought as well. If it is not extreme pain only discomfort, I would journal and see if it follows time of day and certain foods, high carb, high fat ect. It may be changing its mind on what it likes.

I'd check with the doctor to make sure everything is alright.

That being said, I have trouble with eggs in general. Some folks don't. You'll find certain foods trigger probelms for you. Some days I find that almost anything will make me sick and others the same thing won't make me sick. The pouch gets cranky sometimes.

Thanks everyone! :) today seems to be a better day. I did talk to my fix yesterday and she said as long as I'm not vomiting or have a fever then it's nothing major but to keep then posted. She told me to try take a laxative. Lol she seems to think its gas.
