and I am still in so much pain. I have a nurse come to the house and a friend who changes the dressing of the wound that has to heal from the inside out. I walk around when I can, but I am tired. Not very hungry. I just want this pain to go away. It is mostly at the site when the open wound is at. I did not know it was going to be this way. Not that I regret the surgery. But, this much pain. I slept in my bed 3x and am back in my lazyboy. I walk around the house. But, it still hurts. Did anyone else go through this much pain?? I had the bypass done.

Hi My name is Jo and I had the sleeve on the 22nd of Jan and I am still very sore and my incisions hurt too I am very sore and it hurts to eat and drink I call the nurse today and she said it is all normal and in about one more week i should be less sore I hope this helps good luck

Hope things get better fast. Walk as much as you can tolerate and drink!!

Thanks ladies,,,,I am trying. I sleep alot, Drink in between. The open wound is where all the pain is. There is no way I can go back to work right now, I hope these next few days change things. I need to get better. So sick of being sick :(

Sorry to hear you are in so much pain.

I experienced hardly any pain -- only took meds for 2 days. Then again I had the Sleeve and not the full Bypass.

From what I've been reading, the Bypass patients tend to have more pain but only for a short period of time. Then they start to lose all those pounds in a more rapid stage than the Sleevers.

Just know better days are coming...

I hope you feel better soon. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
