Tomorrow is my endoscopy... One more thing to check off my list. In fact, the last test I have to do other than the blood work just before surgery. Feels good to have them out of the way!

Also, Bridget, the lady who coordinated everything at the surgeons center is trying to schedule my surgery between July 22nd and Aug 2nd so i can fit it in between terms at school... My Bday is July 10th, so will be a VERY NICE gift to myself! :)

So, even tho I won't have surgery till then... Looks like I just might end up with my date now! Of course it will all hinge on me completing the rest of NUT visits and losing the last couple pounds I have to lose... But piece of cake!

Will just be totally cool to have the date NOW and not wonder how and when I'm going to fit it in... :)

Congrats! Becca. Wish I would have some news about a date. Bridgett told me she would call, but haven't heard from her. Of course, it's only been a week.
I'm way too impatient!

Thanks all! She did call back... She told me she could not give me an offical date, but said she'd make sure and save me a spot within my range of dates, so at least i know i can plan summer and fall term! And surgery will be btwn 7-22 & 8-2, about a ten day window :)

Also, on the endoscopy... From what i was told, my surgeon wants then so they can be sure there are no suprises in regards to my tummy and small intestines when they go in for surgery...

For me... I just go where they send me and jump thru the hoop! Lol!

congratulations of getting an approximation on your date that helps with planning. I work in a college and tried to have mine done during our down time from Registration (our busiest time of the year) and it worked out great for me. I get to skip early registration for the next two weeks but will be there when the major portion of it picks back up in August. I even get to enjoy my yearly vacation in between. Worked out great. So I hope it goes as well for you. Your almost done my friend and I can't wait to cheer you on as you have done all the rest of us. You are indeed one of the biggest cheerleaders on the site and your enthusiastic attitude pre-op for everyone else is what will get you through post-op so hurry on over here - we are waiting on you.

btw - best of luck on your exam tomorrow. I didn't have to take that one either but whatever they have to do, ride it out - you are almost at the finish line.
