So sorry Lisa! Don't try to wash it down or eat anything to try to push it! Do you have any meat tenderizer? 1/4 teaspoon in a little warn water and sip it. This is per my instructions from my surgeon for stuck food.

I'm almost a year out and I can't handle fish of any kind. It is painful -- just sits there for hours. Hang in there, hon. Try some hot tea or hot water. Might not help you digest faster, but might help your pouch feel better.

I hate to be the barer of bad new . But im 2 years out and still have a hard time with tuna. But I have found is you grind it up in a food processor that does help a lot .

Hope you got that out, or down! I can eat tuna salad with lower cal, salad dressing. I can't do my pills with out swishing them in yogurt or something like it. My pills are the worse. They always get stuck.

Lisa... I know how you feel. I had the same thing happen to me today. I had so much pain between my shoulder blades I thought I was going to pass out. Hope you are feeling better. Spotz thanks for the suggestion I will have to remember that one.

I'm late on this one. Hope it went down or you got it out!! But this was one of the food items that my nut said would be fine. I have the several full cans of tuna to prove that I too had the same issue. I thought I was going to die. Processing the tuna with a lot of mayo helped me.But I think defeated the calorie purpose. I've gone on to baked tilapia and salmon.

So sorry to hear this. Has it washed down yet? Hope you are feeling better.

I had the Sleeve and haven't had problems with tuna or chicken salad. I love tuna salad and chicken salad. These are some of my protein meals at least 4 - 6 times per month if not more.
