Anyone have problems taking their meds after RNY? I'm 1 month out as of yesterday.
I use Gabapentin for nerve damage from a knee injury. Every time I take it, I get sick on my stomach. I have nausea for most of the day. It starts to fade and it's time to take another one.
I've also been having some nerve pain around my big incision since surgery. My dr says it could fade or remain.
I've called my PCP and my options are this, a med that has bad side effects, deal with the constant pain or start pain meds. I don't want to use pain meds and I can't deal w/ constant pain.

She started me on Celebrex for now and it's helping. My surgeon had me on that for 14 days after surgery and it did lessen my knee pain.
Pills are the worst part of my day ~ i swear it takes me 3 hours to get all 5 of the down in the morning.
