Ok I have 15-17 more lbs tto go and I will be at the weight my WLS wants me to be at. I have had many people ask me how much more am I going to drop. When I tell them they say I think you need to stop you are already so small. Any thoughts on this. I am down to 177 and a size 8/10 I am almost 8 mos out from RNY. I also posted a new pic so you can see how small I am

It's so hard to tell in these little pics! But I say do what feels comfortable to you...

I think, often, people who are so use to us being heavy have a hard time adjusting visually to the smaller person. Kinda like we have a hard time adjusting to our new selves in our head :)

Thats true! I still have a hard time seeing myself as Small!

I was told that people would say that I had gotten too small.... My advice would be do what is comfortable to you.. And discuss this with you weight loss team.... They know best....

It's your body and you have to live with. If you're healthy and satisfied at the weight you are now that's great. I'd suggest talking to your doctor and then make an informed decision.

Only you can decide that. I'd talk to my doctor and ask what a healthy number will be then decide. My personal goal is a bit less than what my Doc says he sees as successful. He did agree it was a reasonable goal.

My goal was to be in the middle of my bmi range. So for me that range is 118-155lbs.

I got to 142lbs, a size 6-8, and I'm happy there.
