Hey all!
So today make one week since surgery! Things are going well and I could not be happier with how this last week has played out :)

Several of you have sent me messages asking how my week went, what a day looks like, how do I get in my protein and fluids... All very real questions that I could so relate to and just a few weeks ago I was asking myself.

So what I have done is posted a journal trying to answer all these questions. It is long and babbly in true Becca fashion, so venture over only if you dare! LOL!

Congrats on getting through the first week =) This Friday will be week 8 for me, though if counting months by the calendar it won't be until Aug 7th. I can hardly believe 2 months have passed already.

Wow! 8 weeks already!! Its crazy how fast time flies :) I keep thinking when I head back to school end of Sept it will be a bit over 2 months post op!

I'm glad your first week has gone so well. We need post op people to help see us pre ops through. I sure hope I can figure all of this out.

First thing is congrats on your first week being successful. It went by fast it seems. As a newbie I find your positive nature and the way you attack this process awesome. I would like to think I will be the same way.

Whoo Hoo!!! One week already? Wow!

Hmmmmm...One week is about when I overdid it and then thought I'd pulled something on my left side (I hadn't...it was just the left incision being more painful because of the deep stitches they use for the larger port). Keep walkin' but don't overdo it, my friend. Remember, you just had your innards re-arranged!!

You are doing great! I wasn't allow anything but protein shakes the first two weeks and no cream soups or puddings or yogurts. You are lucky you can have these. Great job! Keep up the awesome job on fluids and protein grams! I am impressed! I was lucky to get 200 cals a day in a one week out but was getting my 80 oz of liquids in.

Good for you! Wow, I remember months ago and it seemed like your surgery was so far away. Now it's over and done and you're on the losers bench. Congrats!!
