Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
Sea salt scrub in the shower (in warm water) and generous slathering of oil after wards.
Nivea Silhouette body gel two times a day.
My batwings feel a little smaller, but realistically, workouts and lotions can only do so much. My skin is soft, though.
My surgical team and trainer have both mentioned surgery for me. I refuse to even think about it until I am one year past goal.
O
So girl wish all you want but know it's a matter of all the thing mentioned above and latter plus the effort to hydrate and exercise.
Good luck

Good luck to you. If you find a magic cure, please let me know!
First i take a vit E pill - 400mg 2x per day.
Second, there is a cleansing system called Cetaphil. It is highly recommended by derms because it is very gently. I use the moisturizing cream that comes in a 10 or 15 oz jar. Now i am really cheap so i buy the kroger brand - $7 vs $15, but i don't know if you have a kroger, you could just look for the generic located near the brand name, walmart doesn't have one.
Anyway, then i get a bottle of liquid vit E - walmart has a cheap one. I pour the E into the cream and stir it together. Every day after my shower i put it all over. I do have some sagging, but i really think it's the remaining weight. My neck is pretty tight and people have even commented about that.
For me i spend about $12 on this concoction once a month, and i think it's an inexpensive alternative to the firming lotions and such.
Whether it truly works or not remains to be seen - but it can't hurt.
And Lu is probably dead right - even if we don't want him to be :-) To tone your skin you have to MOVE. I'm starting out with good ol' fashion leg lifts, push ups, and sit ups!
1)I use Jergens for extra dry skin on my feet and calves.
2)I use Nivea Skin firming lotion from my knees up to my shoulders. Massage is great for getting rid of cellulite...so massage away!
3)Then I use Olay re-sculpting cream on my face and neck.
Of course you must excercise and hydrate daily.
I will need extra skin removed from my lower abdomin once I reach my goal. But, I think the rest of my skin is ok so far!
(77lbs down...23 to go)
