So I ended up in the ER today. I could not swallow even my own spit. Come to find out I have Thrush so bad it is even in my through. Did anyone else have to deal with this. Also I am having a hard time getting enough fluids let alone protein. I have lost 10lbs in 4 days.
It has a way of making everything horrible so please drink fluids

A by-product of the thrush med made me feel so sick at the idea of eating I couldn't pass the kitchen with out pukey thoughts.
The best advice i was ever given was 'just try to survive the first month' later you will get all the protein and water and excercise. Feel better.
Oral thrush causes creamy white lesions, usually on your tongue or inner cheeks. The lesions can be painful and may bleed slightly when you scrape them. Sometimes oral thrush may spread to the roof of your mouth, your gums, your tonsils or the back of your throat.
