LOL! So.... I've been sick.... but today is better... in fact, think I will live! So, the world can once again start turning :) :) What!?!? You mean it didn't hit pause while I've been feeling like crap!?!? :) :)

Also, I've been thinking of writing a book... in my spare time! LOL! One about WLS... but not the "how to" kinda of stuff, more from my point of view and ponderings and ramblings... just the weird stuff I have experienced, learned, felt, feared, and freaked out over.....

What do you all think? Am I nuts? (Ok, don't answer that part!)

That's a great idea...I would buy the book for sure! And I think it is a good approach to share your thoughts and feelings as opposed to an instruction manual (Gastric Bypass for Dummies?) .

And you were right, the world HAD stopped turning while you were under the weather. Absolutely NOTHING happened while you were out. Tee hee

Glad to hear you're feeling better!! I myself have been dealing with a terrible head cold and just feel blahhh(thinking it's partly due to this crazy weather)!
I think you should most definitely write a book, what a great idea!! I would buy it in a heartbeat! Best wishes for you!!

There is A LOT of sickness going around in my town. Everyone is sick!!

I'm staying away from the germy people, as surgery is 12 days away!

A book, yup..i have also thought about doing that. I've led an interesting life, but not sure if anyone would really give 2 hoots about it, LOL!

I think you should, but of course if you do...You will have to "name...all of your DS buddies ", in the front. (You'll have to allow for a few pages for this, just sayin' !!)

Glad you feel better, get your rest, water, and don't overdo! Don't want our favorite student to have a relapse!

Thanks everyone for the support on the book idea.... I think I'm going to start gathering info together. With school and all, it will be in the hopper for quite awhile, but I figure as I am further out, I'll have more to add! And Boo.... Funny you say that cause I was already wondering how I would give credit to all of you here! :) :)

Good luck with the book, Becca! I think it will make an exellent read. You always have some good perspective or something funny to say. Hope you feel better soon! Two days out from surgery and a Zpac and 3 shots of antibiotics later I am finally over mine.
