On Sat. my bariatric program had a Bariatric walk in a local park and food drive for the local food pantry. I thought I could walk the 5K but after I did the 3K I stopped. I did walk the 3K in about 40 minutes though. It was humid and my asthma was kinda bothering me a bit. I haven't had any issues with it at all lately so I think it was the warm muggy weather along with the pollen and trees too. I felt ok yesterday when I got up but this morning...oh my! My calfs and upper legs are hurting. There were some hills we had to walk up and I think that is what did it. I usually walk 1-2 miles daily but to a walking dvd in the house but walking up and down hills really makes a difference!
I have bad knees so I am not for sure what all I can even do at the gym besides the treadmill and exercise bike.
Good luck!

Start out slow because you don't want to over do it. Try other machines when you can.
Save money and don't pay for a personal trainer. Watch what others do while working out and then you know what to try so you have other ways of doing things.
Elliptical machine, bike, and treadmill is a great start to keep moving
Good luck hun!!
