Well boys and girls, I am finally getting my RNY tomorrow morning go into the hospital at 9:30 AM I am so excited , I know that this is the very best thing that I could ever do for myself.I am not nervous yet, I sort of have a since of peace, about the surgery, now who knows how I will be in the morning!! May be having a major come apart by then, but right now I am just relaxed and happy that its finally becoming a reality, Wish me luck !! Best wishes you will be great! I am fairly new here and am 3 1/2 weeks post op. Down 25 pounds and slowly getting my energy back. I am 50 so I am not bouncing back as quickly as I use to!! Do everything you are told and keep the faith. I will be thinking of you tomorrow....

Good luck on your surgery! Hope it all goes smoothly and you have a rapid recovery. I was also at peace right before my surgery and I even slept well the night before. I knew I was doing the right thing. I think you know inside that it is the right thing for you and you accept it peacefully.

I wasn't nervous at all day of surgery, but i was EXCITED TO START LIVING!!!!!!!! stay calm, remind yourself to breathe and i promise its worth it!! every struggle you will go through will be worth it in the end....................just think of the little things, like crossing your legs and being able to walk up stairs without huffing and puffing.........WORTH IT!!!!!
