I am scheduled for my surgery in 2 weeks. From now until then I am on a diet of Boost, 4 1/2 bottles a day. And lots of water and other clear calorie free liquids. Hope this 2 weeks goes fast.

Hang tough. It was the hardest part of the whole process for me.

Hang in there. The second week of my two week liquid diet I was in Quebec chaperoning a field trip. Food was really hard to deal with! You can do this!

This was hands down the hardest part for me, and I was not on only liquids. 800 calories a day in the form of protein meals, and yuck. However, after the first few days it did get easier. Not easy by any means, but easier. Just stick with it, it will be SO worth it. Just keep telling yourself 2 weeks for the rest of your life!!

I am now on day 6 of this boost diet and I have decided that I am sick of boost. However it isn't as hard as I thought it would be. I actually don't feel hungry like I thought I would and it really isn't that hard "yet" dealing with not being able to eat food. Hope it continues to go well. I just have to tolerate the "same ol, same ol" boost every day, lol.

Wow! I have much to learn. I just joined today, as I am in the process of getting assigned to a surgeon. Did not know you had to go on a two-week 'Boost diet'! Good luck on your surgery!!!

kkp0505 every program is different. I had to do 3 days of clear liquids. You will get instructions from your surgeon and know how they want you to do it.
