Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
Glad you are doing so well. I too had a problem with nausea. I also did not take pain meds. once I came home from the hospital for the same reason. The pain was better than the alternative :) It took me a bit longer to feel "normal" because of the lack of pain meds but I think it also kept me from overdoing it.
I don't think you can over sip. Get as much fluid as you can in your body and as much protein. It will take a while to get up to the levels that they want you to. It just takes time. Be patient and take good care of yourself.
You have given yourself a wonderful gift. Be proud of yourself and the decision you have made.

Liquid drugs & crushed pills are awful I thankfully was allowed to swallow pills (smaller than an M&M) so I didn't have to suffer thru that hell.
On the protein... try less scoops... our bodies or so *they" say can only absorb about 30 g at a sitting.
Here's how I do my shakes and they are nom :)

Steer away from too many additions early on but SF Pudding, SF Syrups are great additions to make them more tasty.
Keep sipping & keep walking. Breath fresh air.
