Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.

i am on a natural sugar-free sweetener hunt!
i have been sorely disappointed. i've tried truvia, and even the new monk fruit.
i'm not sure there is anything out their. I know agave nectar and molasses have a lower glycemic index than regular sugar. but they still have sugar so...
one of the new things i am researching is Paleo eating (aka whole foods). it's a neat way of looking at food, but i think a full on whole food menu is unrealistic, but any amount would be good.
i love baking and the best sugar free i've found is Ideal. it's hard to find in stores, i've only seen it in Meijer and now it seems they aren't carrying it any more.
let me know if you find anything!
I use truvia (organic kind from wegman's called Pyure)...one tiny packet is equivalent to 2 teaspoons of sugar...no cravings, no jacked up feeling, and no reaction in the tummy.
I NEVER have sugar-free things unless they are sweetened with stevia (like Vitamin Water ZERO)...if it's fake, I will NOT eat it...just a health conscious decision on my part.
Good luck finding something you like!
