Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
Good Luck!

ppl than skinny ppl. I've said before and I'll say it again with my walking and simple cycling routine I cannot gain a pound even with real sugar.
I don't know why, it's just that way

Canned fruit, even packed in sugar syrup, is okay. Just rinse off all the juice with water and enjoy. I do not eat sugarfree anything. I do not like the taste of sugarfree sweeteners.
Eat what you ate presurgery (unless you were eating two bags of potatoe chips for breatfast, lunch and dinner, if that is the case, change is needed) and focus on protein from real food.
Common sense goes a long way.

I can have any fruit that is packed in water and no sugar added (which includes applesauce) Mott's makes a lot of different sauces that are no sugar added (the mixed berry is awesome!) and I have also done mixed fruit and mandarin oranges in water no sugar added. All were fine and are allowed in my program. (In fact- encouraged... my nut wants me to try more fruits without skins or seeds)
This whole adjusting thing is certainly easy with all the support (and being told to chill out, thanks Chris and Lu :-) )!
The sugar aspect is a mystery to me. Hopefully I can figure it out before surgery.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
