Headed in on my only day off this week to spend 4 hrs at the hosp for a heart stress test. One of the tests my surgeon ordered. No, I'm not nervous... (ha!) just saying :)

Well, I survived! I had to do one where they inject you (in iv) with stuff to make your heart race as I cannot walk treadmill fast enough (knee gives out before I can get my heart rate up). The drugs suck! Made me nauseous, gave me a headache, and made me out of breath feeling... but its over now! Whew! Now I just have to wait till next week to find out if my heart is healthy... Decided to not even worry about it, otherwise I'd go crazy! :)

Good attitude Becca, you can't change the results so try not to worry about them. That test made me feel the same way, but I figured I'd rather know if there was a heart problem before surgery and not during:)

Glad you got the test and hope you feel better now.

My husband went through this and ended up needing a cardiac drug, but it has made his heart function normal again. So, either way, whether or not you have a problem, this can be good news.
