Hey guys. I have two weeks off from work and am going stir crazy*lol*. I wish that I went back today instead of the 24th*ok that was a drama queen moment*. I can't believe how well I am feelig. Yesterday I surprised my mom and went to see her and we had a great visit. I have a appt to see my surgeon next Monday, so that means one more week on the liquid diet which I am sick of already. I am not hungry nor do I have a appetite I just don't want anymore liquids and jello*poking out tongue* I am actually getting in all of my required protein and my liquids. I am just sick of it. So how are you guys doing?

How great that you are doing so well!! You need the two weeks to recover and get into a routine (not that I have first hand experience yet, I just know from reading posts.) Make sure you get rest even if you don't feel like you need it. Keep up the good work!!!!

I am doing ok. I still have tummy pain from my 3 largest incisions but other than that I am doing ok. I am so glad the naseousness has passed. I am learning & adjusting to not sipping too fast or too soon I have had a few ouch moments lol. Other than my tummy pain I feel good & just hope & pray that we all continue to do well!

Chocolate how do you do so well with your protein and fluids. I'm not doing too well with that. Well I guess I'm asking anyone do they know of another way to get it down. So gross to me.

I am glad to hear you are doing so well. I didn't have the problems either with pain etc. I did have a little trouble the first few days getting my fluids in etc but i had thrush which didn't help any.

I am so proud of you did you tell your mom?? Take the time off to be sure that you are ready to return to work. My fitness coach said take it easy and when you think your ready for more wait 3 days and then you will be ready.

Keep on going the way you are going and you will do amazingly well.

So good to hear you're doing so well! Just remember that you've had a major rearrangement! Give yourself time, even though you think you don't need it! ;)

I'm doing great! 4 more pounds to my Dr's goal for me. I go see him next Monday for my one year visit. Just DYING to be at goal for that!!

I am also going stir crazy. I had my children(actually teenagers and my rocks through this) take me and drop me off for a pedicure. I have also gone shopping (more like walking). Helps a little but have major cabin fever. I can't seem to get all my protein in....whats your secret?

You are doing FANTASTIC!

I had my Sleeve surgery on a Tuesday and by Friday, I could have gone back to work. I only took a week off so I relaxed and enjoyed the extra time off.

You too should relax and enjoy the extra time off. Recovery will go even better for you.

BTW. I had my surgery on June 5 and as of Sept. 5 (3 months) -- I've lost 50 lbs.!!!!!!

Great to hear. I had to wear the pain pump for four days after surgery. I needed those two weeks off. I wish I was still off. This is my second day back. I just got the news that my best girlfriend passed on from cancer last night. She was like my sister. She would be proud of me and I really wanted her to be around to experience the new me. But God has plans for the beautiful spirited ones. She passed in Lagana, CA at 9:20 09/10. Sorry to bring this up guys.
