Beanies post made me wonder... do we have to give ourselves those darn blood thinner shots after surgery????

I had to do that after my knee replacement, and I really didn't like it... would prefer to NOT have to do it again! :) :)

Becca: Nothing was ever mentioned about having to give ourselves shots after surgery. I'm with you, I hope not! I had a friend that had GBS last November here in Coos Bay and she did have to giver her self shots.
That scarred me a little when she told me about it, but I'm sure if our Dr. requires it they would have talked about it last week at the pre-op appointment.

BTW Day 4 of liquid diet, still feeling fine. Kept busy all weekend and out of the house to keep my mind off the refrigerator. 3 days left to go ;-)

I had mine in the hospital too, ouchy indeed...but I never had to give myself any.

I only got them post op after my sleeve while in the hospital.
