Well, I have lost enough that I can wear some more form fitting clothes, but some of the in fashion A line clothes leave me looking a little Prego with my still pouchy tummy poof. So what do you recommend for shape wear? The cami top, or the high waste bottoms? I live in my jeans, so not to terribly concerned about the thighs, just that annoying poof at the front. :)

Don't know much about it myself but I just bought a pair of the high waist panties from Amazon. They are called Dr. Reys and I like them I will be wearing them under my dress for my son's wedding next weekend. I have given them a test drive at home. I know everyone raves about spanx, but with my changing size I wasn't willing to spend quite that much on them yet.

I used to worry about that too... But as you get closer to your goal it gets less noticable... Most of my clothes hide it well...

I don't like look at myself naked, but in clothes you would never know I have one... And I can blame it on my age... LOL... I am almost 50.. Most middle aged woman have some bulge in the middle...

I looked at the dr reyes on amazon, but was not familiar with the brand and didn't want to jump on it without knowing about it.

Kathy, I only worry with just a few shirts with lught fabirc. I don't want to look pregnant after all this work! Lol

Dr reys brand is amazing, he's actually a famous Beverly hills plastic surgeon and he came out with the shape wear a few years ago.

To hide my tummy I prefer to use high waisted briefs, it's comfy shape wear. Plus can be worn with pretty much any top/dress/tunic without showing straps that you might not want to explain if asked (I have friends who ask random questions like that) plus it covers the bottom of your tummy, not sure if that's a point you need but it applies to me :P

i decided to buy a couple of cheap pieces from walmart before i spent good money. i was glad i did because they really bother my tummy.

when i was big i had some trouble with soreness when wearing them. now it's worse. My tummy just doesn't like the binding.

But you know what - my hubby likes my little pouchy belly. And it is really little.

i heard once when i was pregnant that men find pregnant women attractive because it shows the "primal" part of him that she is fertile. I think the pouch mimics this a bit.

i still find myself looking down and thinking, FAT! but then i shake my head and remember i am in a size 6/8! no way am i fat!!

also remember certain cuts show this off. i have this one flowy shirt i wear. when i do my kids ask me if i have a baby in my tummy!

I have both the shapewear panties and some of the camisole tops. When I really dress up, I wear both. But for the most part I wear the camisole. I've bought the ones at Walmart and some other stores and still can't fit into even the 2XL (and I'm wearing size 16/18 tops). A few weeks ago at Sam's Club I found some of the camis, two to a box for only like $16 maybe and I have been wearing them ever since. Best buy I've found. They come down to a few inches below my belly button.
