Just wanted to put my vent in writing:
Man, I dunno if I'm getting ready for a visit from Aunt Flo or what, but I have had the urge to eat all day long today. Normally I'm fine once I eat, but today I just want to eat and eat and eat. I'm NOT, mind you, but I WANT to very badly. This is a first for me at a year out.
Usually when I get hungry I feel it physically in my pouch, but this time it's more like head hunger, I think. I opted for a 100 calorie bag of those yummy Emerald Cocoa Almonds and am now having a protein shake to see if that curbs my cravings. I usually will chew a piece of gum, but decided not to since chewing made me think about eating something.
Here's what I've eaten so far today:
Waking: hot tea x3 (6oz ea)
At work: coffee (20 oz)
Breakfast: 1c. low-carb protein packed cabbage stew (will post recipe next, it is delish!)
In between: pushing fluids (water w/4C tea powder)
Lunch: Around 4.5oz cooked Shrimp w/cocktail sauce
(pushing fluids - 4c tea powder in water)
Snack: 100 calorie pack almonds, protein shake
In the meantime I'm just fighting off the hunger monster.. maybe if I push more fluids and water load more.. I dunno. Just needed to put it out there.

I feel your pain! How do you deal with that dangling in front of you all day when you're feeling like that?

Gum?? I am scared of chewing gum. I was told if you happen to swallow it, it has to be surgically removed??!!
I quit smoking 5 years ago, and now with not being able to eat like I used to, use gum to keep my mouth busy throughout the day.

Maybe next time you can ask her to move them to a less conspicuous location in a breakroom maybe or in front of someone else?
