Well...my husband and I attended a WLS seminar. This is the second one for me the first for my husband. I was proud of him. He asked a lot of questions. I have my first appt. scheduled for 7/30. With this program, you have to pay $300.00 for program fee. In this program, every thing you are require for the surgery such as mental health, nutrition or so forth is in the same place. . Also, they provided the protein meals you need when you on the tweeks diet before surgery. It cost $130. I am excited about getting starting. I have to check with my insurance company again to make sure if I do not have to be on a six months diet before surgery. Also, have much that I have to pay out of my pocket. The last time I check was $900.00. It looks like this surgery will cost me 1, 230.00, but not at one time. God will supply all of my needs and desires!!! Amen!!!

Congratulations! It sounds like you've found a comprehensive program, and the costs seem very reasonable. Will both you and your husband be having the surgery together?

oh no..he does not need it. He went with me for support. He is very supportive. I do not believe he needs to lose any weight. However by the BMI he is overweight. He has a little belly, but not to much. His whole family are very small people. His mother is about five feet tall and weights about 100 pounds. When I came into the family, I was small at first then started gaining weight. I struggle with it all my life. I just meet him when I was on one of my diets, LOL!! I have gain over 100 pounds in fours years. I know he loves me, I am a big girl now.
