Where do you find self motivation? I've found that my motivation in the past has come from the expectations others have for my successes. Just the other day, after hearing it for the millionth time "motivation comes from yourself", I finally am starting to get it!
I had my rny GBS on Sept.23, 2011 and had 87 lbs. to lose. I thought that I would take stock of how far I've come in those few months. It really picked me up, so I thought I'd post them. Maybe my Yee Haas can help someone else who might be a slow loser.
Here goes, tooting my own horn: Beep beep! 42.8 lbs. lost. 24.75 inches lost. Starting size 3X women's to 16 misses. There's my motivation to keep on keeping on, right before my own eyes. Hope you can find your own motivation! Please post your sucesses!

I really don't consider this as tooting our own horn. I think it is a way for us to accept the reality. It somehow gives this journey validation when we see it on the screen. Not only that, but it helps a lot of people along the way!!! You've worked hard for this...and we all congratulate you on your successes!!!! We all know that it sometimes isn't easy...but it is so worth it!!! So....CONGRATULATIONS BOBBIE!!!!
