I'm having a hard time dealing with my smaller body. My story is long so ill try to keep it short. When i was growing up i was raped on more than one occasion by friends of my prents they knew about it but never stopped it these men always made comments about how skinny and sexy i was and my dad always said i was just ripe for the picking. I looked alot older than my age by the time i was 11 i looked 25 I never got to eat because i was told i needed to stay small. When i finally got out of that bad living environment i was 14 and my aunt constantly feed me she was worried i wasnt eating enough. Within a month i developed metabolic disorder and went from 165lbs to 265lbs men stopped looking at me and stop hitting on me and i loved it i didnt like me but no one was hurting me eventually i got depressed and gained more weight . Everytime i start losing weight i get scared thats why before surgery i could never get below 250 before id start gaining it back. Now that im much smaller, men have been looking at me and asking me out. It is making me really uncomfortable I know logical that every person staring at me doesnt wanna hurt me but i just get very uncomfortable. I dont know how to not feel this way. I used to go to therapy and ive considered going back but i cant afford it right now. Thanks for listening i just needed to say it without being told im thinking to much and being stupid.

your story is unbelievable. I can not fathom what you have gone through.
I'm almost at a loss as to what to say. i don't want anything to sound trite or simple.
first off you are not thinking too much or being stupid. you have a very good reason to be uncomfortable when men approach you. you have been through major traumas since a young age.
I agree that you should search for free support groups or counselling. you might try your local church, or you can google rape support and find groups in your city that offer free services.
we've all heard it before, that a woman does not asked to be rape, not by her actions, her dress, or her attitude. certainly a child even more so. try to remember that being thin does not mean you are asking for anything. Men will approach you yes. And perhaps this is a chance for some small healing. As they approach you and you politely say no thanks, you'll see that they will walk away. it will be hard and uncomfortable and even scary. But perhaps has you have more and more of these experiences you will start to feel a little less unnerved. you will see that all men are not going to hurt you, but that when you say no they respect your wishes and leave you alone.
Remember there can always be jerks that may press you a little more or keep talking to you, but that doesn't mean they will assault you.
you are so young, and have so much life ahead of you. i hope that you are able to find the support you need to work through these things. i hope that you are able to come to a place where you have no fears of men (or women for that matter). A place where you are able to discover a loving relationship with a man and build a family of your own.
