Yesterday I saw my surgeon for my one year check up. All went well. My bloodwork was almost perfect. My B1 was a little high so I have to cut back on the supplement I was taking. Other than that all was within normal range.
My official weigh in had my weight at 201 pounds. My scale at home weighs me three pounds lighter (I weigh naked at home!) so I think I am really closer to the 198 that my scale showed. I weighted 347 pounds the first time I stepped on the scale at the surgeons office in June of 2012.
I have lost a total (per doctors scale) 146 pounds. My BMI has gone from 59.6 to 34.5.
My only issue is that I have an incisional hernia that needs to be repaired. I have had it at least since February and the doctor has been monitoring it. He now says it is time to get it repaired. That is going to happen on Monday 9/30. I am very nervous but also glad that this is going to be over with.

That is great news! WOW!! That is a lot of weight! You look great!
Good luck on the hernia operation. I have a hiatal hernia, and it sounds like quite a few end up having the surgeon take care of it, when he does their WLS.
