This is a sad day for my family as my aunt passed away this morning. This is the first of my mother's siblings. Don't know about arrangements yet, but traveling will be involved. This is the first MAJOR stressor I have had since my surgery. We all have stress daily, but I have been blessed with no major events until now. I am already feeling like "where is the chocolate?!" I have done well about not even wanting anything sweetened with sugar, and am going to try to stay mentally on course. The Lord has been with me the whole way and I know he is still here with me. I guess I just needed to share. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated.

Yes, sometimes it is hard to just feel our feelings (rather than eating them). Wishing you safe travels and precious time with your family as you come together to celebrate your aunt's life.

You might want to plan some protein-rich snacks that you can travel with. It might help you to deal with stress if you know you can snack in a healthy way.
When I travel, I pack string cheese, nuts, and always have a water bottle with me.
