Hi all!
I am 10 months out, give or take, from RNY. I am at 150, down from 279 last Christmas. Last year, I was depressed. My insurance had denied my surgery for the third time. I had no hope for my future. Now everyday is filled with hope and new discoveries of what my new body can do! I have run 2 5Ks, gone rock climbing, Zumba like a fool, and gone snow sledding with my kids for the first time ever! (Even though they are 23, 19, 17 and 17).
I used to scour these posts and dream of the day I would be here. It's better than a dream! All of you beginning your journey or who are on the way, know that this tool works! You need to work too, but it has been such a blessing. Just remember: "Nothing works unless you do."

I, too, remember scouring these posts and wondering if it was really possible for me to get down to a healthy weight. Thank God for this site and the wonderful support I received. "Nothing works unless you do." Priceless!!
