Don't give up! What was wrong with the second colonoscopy? Is it something that is fixable? If so, get the fix and go from there. I had H-Pylori, which is an infection of the stomach lining. I had to get that under control before I could have my surgery. Take it one step at a time. Keep losing the weight...because it is that much weight you won't have to later. I'm truly sorry for the setback, but maybe it is just that, a setback. We're here if you need us!

Thanks for your support but I'm truly fed up of fighting and arguing my case (over two years). Now this problem.
it's the policy of the powers that be to exclude anyone with my kind of problem from surgery. They have removed the "Villous Adenoma" but it was BIG so it has probably spread elsewhere and so I have serious cancer threat.

Wow...I looked up the villous adenoma and that isn't good. But, you have to look at it this way. They are looking after your best interest, as far as the long range picture. Your body isn't meant for this surgery. Thank God they found the problem and removed it for now. Hopefully, that will be all you have to contend with. I wish you all the best and you don't have to leave just because of the decision. Like I said, we're here for you.

Don't throw in the towel just yet. What you have was found, removed, and you can be treated. Don't assume the worse. Your surgery may be on hold but it saved your life by finding the adenoma that you would have otherwise not known about without the pre-op testing. Right now it's important for you to take care of that. You are in my prayers for peace of mind and healing.

If it is too painful to read about everyone's gastric bypass posts when you aren't a candidate yourself for the surgery at the present time, I wouldn't blame you for not wanting to read the discussions here anymore.

But at the same time, you have made connections with some of us and I hope you will not leave forever! Please still at least pop in from time to time and let us know how you are doing.

I pray for your complete healing. Try to stay encouraged my friend. Sometimes, just when you think things are falling apart, it is really just one door shutting and a window opening!
