I woke up this morning and my stomach hurt so bad i had not ate or drank anything since last night. However when i woke up it was like i had the dumping syndrome. I had eggs and chorizo for dinner nothing i haven't ate before. I've only been sick once since surgery and that was a month out when i could eat real food again. I ate Tuna that time and havent since. Has anyone else ever woke up and felt this way?

I can eat a food one day and the next be bringing it back up.

There are many stomach bugs out in my area right now. If you stay nautious all day or more call your doc. At this point it could be WLS realated or it could be just a virous. We arent immune to those because we traded a stomach for a pouch unfortunately. :) hope you feel better try to keep in fluids at least.

I got sick one morning after I'd gone to bed right after swallowing my vitamins and meds. I learned I have to drink a lot of water when I swallow pills and I can't lie down right away.

This could be the flu or it could be the food you ate not agreeing with you. I can't do eggs anymore.

I am almost 15 moths out and have a new thing at least once every 2-3 weeks that makes me sick that never did before. The only thing I had trouble with up unitl my one year mark was Ham products. Now it is LOTS of things that make me sick. Not throwing up sick, but more like the dumping syndrome sick. I have NO IDEA what is going on. Oh well. I feel good, but haven't lost anything in like 6 months. So as long as you are still losing, I wouldn't be too worried.

Jj i think you were right i did take my meds right before bed and normally i take them early in the day. I feel better besides feeling tired lol i held down a protein shake and lunch so here comes dinner hopefully it was just a fluke :/ thank you all for the replies :)

I can't do eggs, either. And I find that when something doesbt agree with my pouch it doesn't seem to move through quickly. I've spent up to two days in pain from something that I ate.
