I ate dinner 5 hours ago and I am getting ready for bed it's 1125 where I am and all of a sudden my chest and stomach felt like they were getting tighter and it was hard to breathe the pressure was under my chest andit lasted maybe 2-3 min I took a gas x and breathed slowly but has tgi happen to anyone else? All I had for dinner was some chicken breast and I've ate it fine since I could start solid foods so idk this scared me...

I don't know if this applies at all but after being able to eat for a few weeks I suddenly couldn't digest chicken anymore. It killed me!!
Had to stop eating it and its my food staple:(
I've heard chicken can suddenly disagree with you.
Just my thought and experience
I also now take Omeprazole before my meals

I am on an ant acid have been since post op. However one night on sift food diet I had yogurt not even quarter cup. that evening I truly thought I was having a heart attack. even my blood pressure shot up. It was GERD the hospital drew blood every so many hrs for 24 and not a heart issue. they added a ant acid in the pm to help. I still get attacks once in awhile.

I am 5 weeks exactly post op... And my doc told me I need to take the Nexium for at least ONE year... Says that will help.... Hope you feel better...

I have problems with pain still for certain foods but I usually know it right a way. I would check with your dr about it. debby

I can't eat chicken either. Which is so weird because I can eat beef jerkey just fine. Something about Chicken makes me very ill. Might be that.
