I can eat meats, fish ect... and even beef ,chicken. Was telling someone that Boca burgers are high in protein. They are soy burgers. Not too bad if my daughter even likes them. She is picky. any how. if you need drinks to get the protein go for it. If you just need some other things to eat high in protein. There is Plain greek yogart, and you can get that lower cal and add sugarless sweetener or sugarless jams to it. Or plain fruits. Cottage cheeze is high in proteins and tilipia. t una, jerky , nuts powder peanut butter. it is 85% fat free compaired to other peanut stuff and high in the protein. Liver in the pan with spam and lots of onion..yum thinking thinking....later
The only thing I can eat well is vegetable soup. What I'm learning is do what works for you but keep an open mind. If I try something and it doesn't work and makes me uncomfortable I just won't eat it and will find another healthy source ie., protein shakes.

I was on 80 to 88 gram of protein after the procedure and now I am at 70/75 grams. I have no problem eating anything other than suger. I do get sick on suger. No problem with any other kinds of food.
My nut has worked for 3 different GBS programs and she said this program is the one that has the best success for the long term.
The surgen says that if you eat enough protein, you have to take in to many cals to make this work long term.
I am happy with the program! Good Luck
Cheers,
JILL
