I am sure just like me a lot of you guys cant stand protein shakes anymore, but I have a great idea that I wanted to share. Every morning I drink a decaf iced coffee with equal and skim milk, what I started to do is putting my scoop of protein powder in with my coffee, that way I am getting extra protein without drinking those nasty shakes. It changes the taste of the coffee to chocolate milk(since I like designer whey chocolate gourmet). So if you guys decide to try it, let me know what you think about it.

I drink my frosty chococlate protein in my morning hot coffee every morning,I have a cup that hold's 2 servings of protein with my coffee so I drink 2 every morning and that gives me my 100 mgs of protein per day and I dont had no sweetner or creamer dont need it,I also make icecoffee with it,I get my frosty chocolate protein from walmart for $21.00 for a lrg jug, it's the only flavor I like.

I kind of do the same, except I add it to sugar free hot cocoa, I dont drink coffee, I do add a little milk and mix before I add the hot water then I add the hot water slowly, as Protein tends to clump when you add it to hot liquids, but I found if you mix it with milk first it doesn't clump as much. I also get the Pure Protein from Walmart, so far it tastes better than the others. :)

Thanks ladies, I am going to look on Walmart website for the protein. I love the Designer Whey, but also want to try something different. I am also going to try it in hot chocolate that sounds good.

Thanks for sharing! I'm not a coffee drinker either, but might try the hot coco like tcl once I'm post op...

I bought a jug of high protein low sugar and carb whey protein powder at my grocery outlet store the other day... It's gram-cracker flavored. So yummy! (I make smoothies for breakfast most mornings). was like 18 bucks for a HUGE container!! :) (I love grocery outlet!)

Ok, I am a coffee drinker. I was told not to drink coffee after weight loss surgery. I'm trying to remember why but I seem to recall that it was because the caffeine is too much for the pouch and the heat isn't great either. Are you saying it can be done?

I drink decaf coffee and my NUT said it was ok. Also I do iced coffee, not hot.
