I placed a big order on bariatricchoice.com last weekend and it arrived yesterday, and I must say, it really makes getting my protein in much easier! I got some oatmeal for breakfast; some cheesesteak macaroni, chili, vegetarian sloppy joe, creamy alfredo for lunches; and peach tea & hot chocolate for in-between. All have from 12-15g of protein in them and so far taste really good! I'm having the hot chocolate now for breakfast whlie waiting for my souffle to cook, and you would never know it was good for you, it tastes wonderful!
The products are from Bariwise, Wonderslim and Proti-Diet. They also sent me a sample pack that included a lemon meringue crunchy bar w/15g of protein, and it was SINFUL!! All of the products are low-cal, low carb, low fat, low sugar, bariatric surgery friendly. I also got a free blender bottle with my order, and free shipping (my order was around $112). Then, 2 days later everything I ordered went on sale, so it's cheaper now. lol
Color me very happy! So for all of you out there trying to decide if it's worth it or if it's good, the answer (for me anyway) is yes!

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

I'm having the Mint Hot Chocolate right now. The packet is 12 grams protein, and making it with milk makes it 20 grams. Awesome! (And it's good, though the mint flavor isn't as strong as I'd like.)

1g fiber
3g sugar
15g protein
I may have another one!
