Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.

This website has a card you can print yourself and have your surgeon sign it, then you just laminate it :)

Medical alert bracelet? I am not sure why we would even need one of those. I don't believe if something happened to us that the first thing the helping party would do is shove a taco down our throats. Am I missing something here?
I think there is another thread about bacelets.....liz
I dont show the card anymore. I just order the meal I want and eat small amounts of it. I usually take my uneaten portion home for lunch and supper the next few days. I may order a cup of soup as my meal.
