My first week was clear liquids. 64 oz. Including the clear liquid protein (Isopure). I also had to count the grams of protein, a minimum of 60 grams. For liquids I had: broths, water decaf iced tea with splenda, sf popcycles, sf Italian ice, Isopure, water, Crystal light.
Week two was full liquids (liquids that you can not see through along with plain Greek yogurt, sf applesauce, protein powder, shakes and all the wonderful goodies from the previous week.
Week three added pureed foods to the two previous weeks items.
Week four added soft foods, those that you could cursory a fork.
I had to get a bit creative. If you haven't already, go to www.theworldaccordingtoeggface.com for some great ideas for all stages of post op eating.
Blessings!

you are awesome.
2 weeks after was the same as 2 weeks prior. Liquid protein shake. Broths, sugar free popsicles, sugar free jello any flavor, sugar free drinks non carbonated. then went to soft foods for 2 weeks. cottage cheese, refried beans, chili (chewed well), soups (if chunky chewed well) anything that was soft and sugar free low carb. I never had to puree anything, I was just told to chew chew chew to the consistancy of babyfood.
Good luck!!!!
Wishing for speedy, painless recovery!!
I was on the liquid diet for 5 days. It was three meals a day of 2 oz. of beef or chicken broth, and 1 oz of sugar free jello. The rest of my day was 64 oz of water, milk, and sugar free popsicles.

Probably more than you wanted to hear, right? But it might be your reality for a little while, or you may get to skip that altogether. Either way, you can cope, and it will all come out good in the end. Honest!
