I really, seriously, would like to stab myself with a sharp number 2 pencil right now. I am so TIRED of my monthly visitor just deciding to show up when it feels like and on a more frequent than monthly time frame.
For the past month and half, I have been having my period every two weeks (roughly)... and it SUCKS. I am so tired of this!!
I am on the pill (Yaz) and i understand that as we lose weight we have hormonal changes and that those can contribute to an irregular menstrual cycle ...
BUT SERIOUSLY, WHEN IS IT GOING TO GO BACK TO NORMAL? I am thinking about seeing my doctor next week and asking her to prescibe me a higher dose hormone pill ... if anyone has any recommendations, I would love to hear what works for you.
In the meantime, I suggest everyone buy stock in playtex, their value is most certainly going to go up since there is a run on thier products in Northern Virginia. Just saying.

I had that issue when my B12 was low. I would have your labs checked. Low iron for me also seems to cause some issues with frequency.....good luck!!

I have never been on the pill so I do not know much about it, however, my best friend has been on it for heavy periods for a long time and what she does is takes the pill for 3 months and then does the sugar pills only once every 3 months instead of once a month. This way she only has a period 4 times a year and controls exactly when they happen. Maybe talk with your doc about an arrangement like this. I don't know what she takes but if you need me to find out I can for you.

I had a cotrisone injection last year that made my monthly last 7months straight.
i started to take a menopause capsule from greens plus. 2 capsules and the stupid thing stopped.
YAZ is having issues here in Canada and it's not being prescribed right now... you should see the doctor for the b12 issue and it might be time to change pills.
