Ok so I'm allowed to use Tylenol but the pills are huge so how can I take them? Do I cut them up? I was unsure what to do so I suffered all day yesterday with a really bad headache!

Yes, cut them in half or in quarters. They make pill spliters for pretty cheap. You can get them on amazon.com or most pharmacies will have them.
I hope your headache goes away soon.

CVS sells liquid acetominophen. I used that when I was newly post-op.

I've been able to swallow them whole with no problem. It's the calcium citrate that I cut into 4! Hope your headache gets better soon

Toukybear- my doc said that the opening in the pouch is too small for the Tylenol to pass through so it needs to be cut.

I'll look for the liquid.

I crushed pills for a while. Now I take them whole.

Ask the pharmacist for the right dosage on the liquid since it is a kid's suspension...you want to make sure you get enough to knock that headache out. Hope you are feeling better by now.

Watch the liquid because it has a lot of sugar in it. My first dumping episode was the result of a sore knee I took the recommended dose of liquid Tylenol for. Needles to say I forgot all about the knee pain as I was throwing up and had a unhappy pouch!

Cutting the 325 mg Tylenol in half I was able to take them without problems about 4 weeks post-op.

I ordered Strength 160 mg / 5 mL Is that half strength from what you used? Got Tylenol Liquid Generic on Amazon.

SF applesauce was my friend at first... crushed my pills up in it to get them down :)
