pain after starting maintenance diet

my surgery was in april 2010, I am 5 or so pounds below my goal weight. The doctor has put me on the maintenance diet with orders to not lose anymore. The problem is since I started the maintenance diet I have been having pain right after eating or drinking anything that starts on my chest and radiated through to my back. Sometimes it is just back pain, high on my back between my shoulder blades. Anyone have any idea what is causing this? I am hoping its diet related and I can change that.

Sounds like gall bladder. Have you had yours removed?

maybe you can just try one food by itself and see which ones are doing it

Sorry to be so short in my response, I was in bed when I typed it. My gall bladder presented just along the shoulder blade and went around under my rib cage. The pain would come post-meals (not sf ff drinks) and would get worse in the evenings. To the touch, it was always tender.

I too, am happy for you (over) reaching goal. :)

Hope this is just some easily fixable vitamin or other minor issue.

I agree...sounds like gall bladder. That is the way mine hurt. Contracts on over reaching your goal.

I'm afraid I can't help much there, except unless it's from eating too fast or not chewing enough.. I hope its something as simple as that and not more complicated like gall bladder. Good luck, let us know what you find out.
