Busy with doctoral studies, work, and my personal life. Forever thankful for my RNY and getting to a healthy weight.

I'm in the same boat as you. I eat about 6 oz at a time and usually just meat and a few bites of veggies. I've noticed I am not being as diligent as I was. Summer is fun time at my house and we are always full of company so I am staying active but not an exercise regimen. I find myself either not eating or grazing too much on those days and not getting in all my water.
I'm 19lbs from my goal of 135 but am also happy with where I am at 154. I just don't want to settle. God Bless and hope the rest of your week is wonderful.
Im in the pre-op diet stage and hope surgery gets scheduled soon - it has been a year since I started.
My mom is sick again too. Possible lung cancer but we wont know until the test results come back. I dont think she's that scared this time since the last time she has gotten her affairs in order.
I am only 2 months out so I only eat between 1 and 3 ounces at a time depending on what it is. I am in the stage of trying lots of things to see what my pouch will handle and what it won't. Along with the rapid weight loss I started having periods again (sorry guys). I had forgotten how exhausting they are. I've been taking very long naps for the last three days and still have no trouble going to bed at night. trying to keep up with fluids and protein.
However --- I have been plateaued for a month now - up and down the same 3 pounds. I have to be more diligent in my food choices and activity -- ---- when I get back from vacation.
My husband and I are taking our 12 and 10 year old granddaughters to Disneyland -- for 5 days -- including 'travel days'. It will be their first time ever on an airplane AND to Disneyland. They are so-o excited. We are, too.
As for me, yesterday was my 4 month post-op anniversary (I can't believe how quickly the time has passed). I had hoped to hit the -60 lbs, but missed by 1.5 lbs. I was mildly upset, but the weight loss gods didn't like my pity party so they cursed me last night with an upset stomach. I was miserable all night, stayed home today from work and slept a good part of the morning. On the upside, I dropped down to 156, making my goal a reality + an extra pound to boot. In all honesty, I would have preferred to keep the extra weight instead of being sick. I've had a light eating today, actually I've only had a greek yogurt because I'm afraid of getting sick again and my tummy still hurts from last night. Fluids are probably going to be all for the rest of the day, but it's all good.
I hope everyone is doing great and has fun plans for the weekend. Best to everyone. Terrie
I also work 2 jobs and raise a child on my own, so I know how "we" can take the back seat with doing what we need to do to take care of ourselves! There are days where I'm totally overwhelmed, exhausted and burnt out!! Hang in there!
Moved my son into his new place on a hot summer weekend day, and it was good to be able to climb the steps. Couldn't have done that 3 years ago! Love my sleeve.
