Happy surgiversary to me! It has been a great ride. I know everyone wants to know how much first. I have lost 105# and very pleased with the number but more pleased with all the benefits of the weight loss. I can cross my legs, fit into restaurant booths, movie seats, airplane seats and amusement park rides. My knees and back don't ache anymore. I am not SOB anymore. Exercise is fun, yes, I said it, exercise is fun. I found that high school athlete back. I miss my walk or time at the gym if I can't get it in. Like I tell my friends and family that comment on my new look and say "You look so good." I reply, "I FEEL good." I feel 20 years younger. I sleep better, my skin is healthier, my eyes are brighter. So anyone on the cusp of beginning this journey I would highly recommend it. Has it been hard? YES, it continues to be hard every day. I was a obese a very long time and these habits are difficult to change but this weight loss "tool" has been a literal life saver for me. I thank God for this blessing every day. Enjoy the journey, I know I am.
