Well today is my one week post-op appointment. So far I've been doing really good. Except for the set back I had the first few days after surgery. Once that was taken care of I was feeling amazing. I'm not sure how much weight I've lost total but from 12/26-12/29 I had already lost 10lbs. So I'm sure I've lost a couple more. I don't own a scale so I can't become obsessed over it. The only thing is I do have a cold so all the coughing and sneezing hurts my biggest incision area. I'm am so grateful for everyone on this site, you've all really helped me through this whole journey.

Good to hear it Vic. Sorry about the coughing pain. I have sneezed a few times and it just ruined my day...lol I have lost 9 lbs so far. It is definitely encouraging to see the numbers move in the right direction.

Just think we are on the road to good things.

Just take it one day at time, and keep following your food plan. You will do great!

I SUPPORT you 100%!! You got this!!

I'm about 4 weeks ahead of you, so just know that the food will taste SOOO good, but you will be full!!!!

@cher I find wearing one of those support things you would wear under a dress, oh spanx. Its not that brand I got mine from jc pennys and it was on sale for like $15. And the pressure from it feels really good especially when I sneeze or cough. @Boo thank you, I can't wait to eat something with a texture. Although I got the okay to have some cream of wheat but it has to be watery. I'm looking forward to that

I am just 2 days post op and I have congestion in lungs but yucky stuff is coming out. (Thank God) It hurts when I cough too. Did your throat hurt after you were home? How did you do on your 1st week diet?
My surgeon is making me measure all liquids and drinking them one by one out of a 1 ounce measuring cup up to 48 oz daily. It takes forever to get thru them. Keep in touch and good luck to ya
