Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. Around 130 my body finally was happy - you know it's an amazing feeling to have my body decide my proper weight and for me to not really care if the scale moves a pound or two.
Typically i bounce around 5lbs or so. i have been as low as 127 and as high as 135.
Like farmgirl if i see that 135 number i adjust my intake or output (constipation is a problem sometimes). I weigh in periodically, sometimes a couple times a week, sometimes once every two weeks.
I see the biggest upward movements when i travel. I am a big creature of habit and i tend to eat way off my plan when travelling, plus i always get constipated when travelling too.
Good Luck and welcome to maintenance!!!!!!!!
