OMG will the scale ever move

I am a month post RNY and for the last 10 days the scale has not moved. I know in my head that it is normal but at the same time I am freaking out inside. I am doing everything I am suppose to. How long will this stall last?

Don't panic! Stalls are normal and you will have many more. Some will only last a day or three and others will last weeks. Make sure you take your measurements. Even when you are in a stall, you will still lose inches!!

I stalled about 3 weeks about one month post-op. It's normal... and so annoying! Don't worry. Your body is just adjusting. You'll start melting soon. Hang in there!

I had surgery in Sept. I lost like a champ through Oct and Nov. I did not lose ANY weight through all of Dec. As of this morning, I lost 5 lbs. And that is with pjs on! All you can do is follow your program and the weight will come off. You will soon notice that you have been walking in the mall for 1/2 hour and your back/knees/joints don't hurt; your car seat is too far back and your pants are sagging off of your rear end. It's coming, just give it time...

In the month of Sept and Nov the scale would not move for me either. Hang in there it will move again.

I go 4-6 weeks and maintain...not lose a pound...then for a week straight I will lose a pound to a pound and a half a day. Hang in there!!! We can do this!

Take your body measurements! The stalls are normal, but they can get to you. If you do your body measurements every week, you'll see that your body is burning fat and your are losing inches. The scale will catch up with that eventually.

Calm down. We all go through it ans understand you. You must just take one day at a time and forget the scales. Keep on iwht what you are doing. They will move. Believe you me!
