Am all excited because we have booked our tickets to fly to Ottawa to visit my brother. We are going on 10th October so it will be 3 and a half months post op so I am looking forward to not having to ask for a 'fat strap' on the plane. Plus of course going to see my brother and gorgeous nephew whom I haven't seen for 5 years. Am SO excited that I just can't hide it. :)))))))

Walk up Bank Street uptown and stop at "The Works" - a hamburger joint where you can choose one of hundreds of burgers (wrapped in lettuce if you like). I like peanut butter and bacon on mine. :)
You will love it: Ottawa has the amenities of a huge city but is quite small. As the capital city, it has everything. It is immaculate and mostly quite safe and friendly.

It is Ottawa, Canada indeed. I cannot wait, and thank you for your tips on where to go. As for the bike, I will mull over that thought :)
