NSV !!!! Actually 2 NSC

I bought myself a super cute pair of boots yesterday, so of course I needed some jeans to go with them. I hadn't conquered that hurtle yet, so off I went to Catherine's to see what I could find. I was very pleasantly surprised that I fit in a Catherine's size 16 !! And the best part is they have no elastic!! I cannot tell you the last time I bought pants that didn't have an some sort of elastic in the waist!!!

Also another funny thing... the boots I bought were pretty nice I really treated myself. The store was one where they actually had a salesman who measured my foot and put the shoes on for you, had no idea that still happened anywhere. My feet got smaller again!!! Prior to surgery I wore a snug 8.5 wide shoe. After surgery when I came back to work I bought myself new shoes and they were an 8.5 regular width. Yesterday when I was measured I now wear a 7.5 regular width

Woops not sure what happened there, it posted before I was done!!

Anyway my feet have gone down and entire size and gotten narrower!!

Can't wait until it gets cool enough to wear my jeans and boots!!!

It amazes me that this time last year I was wearing a 4x -- 32/34 in some clothes. Now I comfortably fit into a size 16. I am in the smallest size that Catherines (a woman's plus size clothing store) sells which is a 0x!. I am going to have to venture out into some real stores soon. I need to buy a dress for my nephew's wedding in November so this will be a fun experience. It is kind of scary, I have bought clothes in a real store for 20 years! The past 10 or so I have only shopped in catalogs

Good for you Kelly, that's so exciting! You'll have to share a pic of those jeans and cool new boots!

Catherine's used to be my go-to store. I'm not quite into a 16 yet, but I have found Catherine's clothes to be way too baggy. Used to like that, now I want to show off my curves!

When I was dropping sizes I always went to Good Will. Money is to tight to only wear something a month. I was a 18-20 and now my size 10's are big. Time to go shopping again!

Congratulations! Love hearing about the shoe size going down, I know that I had to tighten my sandals up another notch yesterday, didn't know if my feet were smaller or the sandals stretched, then noticed my work boots were a little too loose today. Isn't it a hoot losing this weight and all the NSV's. Today I noticed that when in the tub my body didn't spread out and dam up the water from going behind me, love those NSV's :)
