We all must remember emotions are ok, feelings are ok. I think for so many overweight women (as I can't speak for the men) we as maizey said, are the cheerful ones that keep everyone up with our shiney disposition that when we have a bad day we are way too hard on ourselves. I know for me this journey (ESP preop) has been learning to allow these emotions for me, it's not selfish it's self care! I was confusing the two. Also, we've (at least I have) turned to bad eating habits and no exercise for comfort and now we are rearranging this to ensure we reach our entire goal of being healthy, not just skinny.
Sorry to ramble, post op meds may be playing a role....hehehe. Best of luck for happier today!
After a while I was getting ulcers from stress in College, never had a probelm withem before or after. Think I aged about 10 years in that couple a years too.
